After looking like a surefire playoff team early, the Stars have fallen on hard times where they went 11-3 through their first 14 games. The decline has been sharp and long since as they have compiled a dismal 4-9 in their last 13. While going 11-3 they allowed more than 3 goals just three times. They have done so twice as frequently in fewer games, allowing 4+ in six of their last 15. Most recently they have been bitten for 5 each in their last two, making this total look highly valuable on the OVER. The Kings haven't been playing well themselves recently, but they have been 5-2 vs. an opponent that scored 2 or fewer in their last game in their last 7. The Stars certainly haven't shined on the road when playing a team with a losing home record at just 8-18 in their last 26. They are also just 4-10 in their last 14 trips to LA. The Kings have played just one UNDER in their last eight vs. a team with a winning record and the Stars have been giving it up of late. Take LA and play the OVER in this one.
