Dallas at Detroit

We were all over Detroit in game one on the moneyline and puckline as they won 4-1. This moneyline has gotten a bit out of hand and we don't think there's value in backing Detroit at greater than 2-to-1. Dallas finds a way to win this game enough to make that a negative-value bet. But, we still like the Detroit -1.5 puckline bet at 1.5 to 1 odds. The Red Wings are that much better and are likely again to have their way with the outclassed Stars. Detroit not only has the better players but they have more experience and they showed more grit and toughness in game one. THis team is now outscoring their playoff competition by an average of 3.8 to 2.0. Over their last five games they have scored 25 goals while giving up just 10. It doesn't get much more dominating than that. The Wings are 33-10 at home vs. winning teamst he past two seasons including 21-4 vs. teams at .510 to .600. They are 29-8 over that span at home vs. teams like Dallas that can score (those averaging 2.9+ goals per game). They are also 20-3 this season in the second of back-to-back home games! Detroit can ride the momentum too as they are 20-5 this season after a blowout win by 3+ goals. What does it all spell? A Red Wings win. We like the odds on the -1.5 puckline.

3 units on Detroit -1.5 goals +155 (puckline) (risk 3 to return 3)
