Dallas at Calgary

The Dallas Stars have made a nice four-game run to move to 7-5-1 on the season. Despite the recent success, this Dallas team has a small margin for error as they have been highly inconsistent on the offensive end. They have managed just 26 goals in their last 12 games or barely over 2 per contest. The Flames have had similar problems in their last two where they have scored just twice overall. But, their track record in their first eight showed them averaging 3 per game, so they certainly have the capacity to get enough going here for the home win. The Stars have been one of the NHL's worst teams when playing on no rest as they are a woeful 15-45 in their last 60. The Flames are cashing in when following a good defensive effort by taking four straight after allowing 2 or less in previous last game. Go with Calgary.
