Columbus at Ottawa

The Columbus Blue Jackets may be a bit surprising at 3-1, but the Ottawa Senators are certainly a surprise, coming into this contest at 3-1 too. So far the Senators have gotten outstanding play on the back end of the ice and between the pipes, but they will surely be challenged in this one by a Columbus team that has been putting a lot of pressure on opposing defenses, and the Jackets have produced 3 or more scores in three of their four games on the season. Columbus is producing on the power play and they have yet to allow a power play goal on the season. That has been a weak area, and a difference maker in this game for Ottawa, who is converting just 15% thus far on the young season. The Senators are a woeful 2-8 in their last 10 after scoring 5 or more in their previous contest. I think Ottawa is just an illusion right now, and the better team is on the road, so play on Columbus.
