Columbus at Montreal

Coach John Tortorella will start backup goaltender Elvis Merzilikins, who was recalled from the minors on Sunday in hopes that he can turn around Columbus' fortunes after Joonas Korpisalo was frustrated by Colorado on Saturday.  The Blue Jackets had beaten Arizona two days before, but then reverted to their low-scoring ways against the Avalanche. Montreal defeated Los Angeles 3-2 on Saturday as defenseman Shea Weber scored two power-play goals and Carey Price had 31 saves. Montreal is 0-5 its last five games versus Metropolitan Division teams and Columbus has won four straight against the Atlantic Division.
