I've had some success picking good spots for this Columbus team who doesn't have a whole lot to hang their hat on with just a pair of road wins for the season. That certainly is true, but both have come in the last five road games, which is much better than their first eight tries on the road where they came up empty. The fact is that this team is playing much better even-up at 4-4 in their last eight, which exceeds their win total from their first 18 played on the season. Montreal had one eight-game stretch of good hockey where they went 6-2, but are otherwise just 5-14, so they certainly aren't playing well. The Blue Jackets have become competitive vs. losing teams, taking four of their last five, while the Canadiens fail as a favorite at 4-12 in their last 16. Columbus is my pick in this one.
