Columbus at Chicago

Yes, it seems like a stretch to give Columbus a chance in this one. Chicago has won three straight. But I like the Blue Jackets' chances and love them at these odds. The main reason is the play of Steve Mason in the net. The Rookie held the Predators and Islanders to just two goals on 51 shots the past two games and he's got a 2.05 GAA. Complimenting that defensive improvement is an offense with a duel threat in Rick Nash and Derick Brassard. Since last season, Columbus is 18-10 against teams with great offenses (those averaging 3+ goals per game). I like Columbus to catch Chicago maybe a bit overconfident here and I give the Blue Jackets a 50% chance of winning this game.
