Columbus at Buffalo

Buffalo is in revenge mode after getting pummeled 9-4 by Columbus on Dec. 19 when the Blue Jackets at one point scored seven consecutive goals. The Sabres bounced back to win their next game 9-3 over Toronto before losing to the New York Rangers and Boston. Columbus had lost three straight before defeating the Maple Leafs 6-5 in overtime last night and the Blue Jackets did not lead until the game-winning goal. Now Columbus has to play a back-to-back and its third game in four days. Daniil Tarasov is likely in net for the Blue Jackets and he is 1-2-0 with a 4.39 GAA and .852 save percentage and was the loser his last start in a 4-1 loss to Toronto last Saturday. Buffalo is 9-2-2 UNDER its past 13 games as a favorite and the Sabres will look to shut down the Blue Jackets early after the barrage they suffered in the last meeting.
