Colorado at Vancouver

Colorado are winners of 5 out of their last 6 with their only loss to Dallas last Saturday night. Colorado has been on a 6 game home stand where they have played great. We took both games in Colorado for winners earlier in the season against Vancouver. This was based in large part of our decision on the Bertuzi/Moore factor. Tonight is a little different. Colorado's hatred for Vancouver will play a lesser role but still play on tonight. The Avs will play with a little extra effort against this team for years to come. After a torrid start Vancouver has slipped as of late with 2 straight losses both in Calgary. Vancouver has also lost 4 straight on the road. However, both teams are undefeated at home this season. The Avs are averaging 4.3 goals per game this season, third-highest in the league. Plus Vancouver's goalie Cloutier is out after suffering a concussion at Colorado on October 27th. Those two combinations add up to bad news for Vancouver. Colorado will score tonight and they will score often. Colorado is 31-13-6 against the Canucks since 1996.
