The Colorado Avalanche really struggled down the stretch on the road last year. The biggest concern has to be the play behind the net and on the defensive end. It has manifested itself once again to open the 2010 campaign as they have already allowed eight goals in their first two on the road. They have now allowed three or more goals in 17 of their last 18 road games and in this league that is going to put you in the loss column more often than not. It is just the type of team the Devils need to get on track as they have struggled offensively but have allowed just three goals in their last two games. The Devils have been money as a home favorite from -110 o -150 where they are 56-22 in their last 78. I'll go with New Jersey to get their first win of the season.
