The Wild have been winners of seven of their last nine, but this team also was 2-6 prior to those nine, so the image here isn't as good as it looks on the immediate surface. The Avalanche is playing strong on the road at 6-3-1 for the season, and has been 4-1 in the role of a dog from +110 to +150 over their last five. The Wild are now playing in their fourth game in six days where they are an ugly 18-40 the last 58 times in this situation. Colorado gets the money here.
