It has been since 2007-08 that the Minnesota Wild has made a playoffs appearance, but enthusiasm reigns supreme here as the Wild spent big to acquire Ryan Suter and Zach Parise. The Avalanche are a young team, with a young captain in newly-elected Gabriel Landeskog at 20 - the youngest captain in NHL history. While Suter, and Parise will eventually help a sputtering Wild offense that tallied a league-low 177 goals a year ago, it is going to take some time for them to find some rhythm on the ice with a new set of teammates. The Wild was just 15-37 in their last 52 games, and the line looks a bit over done here. Take Colorado.
