Colorado at Minnesota

Minnesota was absolutely embarrassed on Tuesday night by the Avs losing 5-1. However, Minnesota is a much better team at home then on the road. Minnesota is 7-1 in its last eight games at home. Despite being pulled from game 4 look for Backstrom to bounce back in a big way. Three of the five goals were a direct result of some sloppy defense in front of him. Sloppy defense and lots of goals are a rare occurence for this Wild team. Jacques Lemaire was sure to remind his team to stick to the trap and tighten up the defense for game 5. The Wild will also have to stay out of the penalty box. The Avs had 13 power plays in game 4 and scored twice. Better defense, better goaltending and staying disciplined will help the Wild win game 5 at home. Take the Wild in game 5.
