Colorado at Detroit

The Red Wings are back pumping out wins on home ice again. They enter this one a stellar 6-1-1 in their first eight. Chris Osgood and Jimmy Howard have both been hot behind the net, aside from a 6-goal hiccup vs. Vancouver. On the road, the Wings have not allowed more than 2 goals in any of their other games in the last six. Peter Budaj has also been up to the challenge for the Avalanche as he has allowed just 9 scores in his last five games, or less than 2 per contest. The Avalanche has played to an 8-3 UNDER mark when posted as a huge dog from +201 or higher in their last 11. Both of these teams have been hot behind the net, and I look for this one to play UNDER the total.
