Colorado at Dallas

Colorado came through in an elimination game on Monday after scoring five goals in the first period in a 6-3 win over the Stars. Now the Avalanche has to do it again to even the series at three games apiece and appears to have the upper hand in net, as it can turn to either Michael Hutchinson or Philipp Grubauer. Hutchinson made an unexpected start in Game 5 and made 31 saves. Dallas goalie Ben Bishop was the victim of Colorado's first-period blitz and Anton Khudobin relieved and stopped 20 of 22 shots. The Avalanche have won 17 of its last 25 games and it is 44-19 playing with one day of rest. Also, Colorado is 11-1 its last 12 Wednesday games. Take the Avalanche.
