Colorado at Calgary

A pair of teams off to a great start creates an exciting matchup in Calgary tonight as the 9-1-2 Avalanche visit. The Avalanche have played great to start the season, especially when you consider that eight of the first ten have been played on the road, although the travel may catch up to them here vs an also hot Calgary team, that is 5-1 at home, have won all three on their current homestand. The Flames are clicking with their attack right now, as they have scored five or more goals in each of the three on this homestand, which has not been good news for the Avalanche who have now gone 1-5 vs a team off scoring five plus. The Flames have been hot, but carry a 13-3 mark, are off of three days rest, and have had the Avalanche number as they have won the last four here. I'll go with Calgary here.
