Colorado got a 4-3 shootout win on Jan. 8 in the only meeting this season and the Avalanche currently have won 10 of their past 13 games, including 7-4 over Ottawa on Tuesday. Mikko Rantanen had a pair of goals for Colorado, which scored four unanswered goals in the third period. Justus Annunen stopped 36 of 40 shots and Alexandar Georgiev is likely back tonight. Georgiev is 24-10-2 with a 2.92 goals-against average and he has won eight of nine starts. Jeremy Swayman is confirmed for Boston, which has lost four of seven although it did get a 3-0 win over New Jersey on Monday. The Bruins have lost four of Swayman's past six appearances. Boston is 1-5 as a favorite of -110 to -150 and Colorado is 8-2 playing with one day of rest and 6-1 its past seven games versus teams with winning records. Make it a Max Play on the Avalanche.
