Colorado at Boston

Boston gave a valiant effort on Wednesday, coming back from a three-goal deficit before losing 4-3 in overtime at Washington. Tuukka Rask made 16 saves for the Bruins and he still is tied for the league lead with 14 wins along with a .933 save percentage and 1.79 goals-against average. Colorado has lost six in a row after its 4-3 loss at Nashville on Tuesday and the Avalanche hasn't won since Nov. 21 at Columbus. Semyon Varlamov made 28 saves against the Predators but lost it on a power-play goal by Roman Josi early in the third period. Several Avalanche players are suffering from the effects of the flu. Boston has won five of its last six after an overtime game the previous night and the Bruins have won six of their last eight home games. Varlamov has a 3.08 GAA and .905 save percentage and is 5-12 on the season. Take the Bruins tonight.
