Both of these teams have problems, but at least Colorado has a win. The Ducks are winless after a stunning 4-0 loss to Arizona on Wednesday -- their second straight home loss by a combined 6-1 count. The Ducks are 1-4 in their last five home games while riding a five-game skid. Coach Bruce Boudreau tinkered with his lines during the first two games but the offense remains anemic. Anaheim has scored one goal this season and is 0-for-6 on the power play while the Colorado Avalanche have totaled 12 tallies, four by captain Gabriel Landeskog, and is a league-best 5-for-10 with the man advantage. Colorado is 4-0 when playing on one day of rest, plus 35-16 against a team with a losing record. Colorado just finished a 1-2 home stand that had coach Patrick Roy furious. The Avalanche are 11-3 following a home loss of three or more goals and this is another good bounce-back spot. Take Colorado.
