We have a pair of teams that slow the pace down when they are in the second of a back-to-back spot. For Colorado, the UNDER is 5-1-1 in their last seven road games as well as 4-0 UNDER the total in the Avalanche's last four games playing on no rest. They are off a hard fought 3-1 victory at Los Angeles last night, as Sebastien Giguere made 25 saves, part of an 8-3-1 run overall UNDER the total. In addition the Avalanche are just 6-for-46 on the power play over their last 17 games. Now they play another road game and the UNDER is 6-1-1 in the Avalanche's last eight games as an underdog. Anaheim also played last night, a 2-1 win over Ottawa, and the UNDER is 5-2 in the Ducks' last seven games when playing on no day’s rest. Anaheim is riding a 4-game win streak keyed by defense, allowing 5 goals in those four games and this is another great spot for a slow, defensive game by both tired squads. Play the Avalanche/Ducks UNDER the total.
