The Canucks thought they should of won it all last year, but were outplayed by the Bruins in the Finals and fell one series short. They opened the season with a suspected hangover, but have been playing their best hockey of the season of late taking their last three out of four and, more importantly, allowing just nine goals in the four games, equaling their best four game stretch of the entire season. The Blackhawks are looking to get back to the Finals after surrendering the cup a year ago, having won three straight games, but overall come to Vancouver with a losing record on the road for the season. Both teams are playing at a high level, which would indicate a tight checking affair with goals at a premium. This has not been the best spot for Chicago, who is now 1-6 in their last seven as a road dog. The Canucks are brilliant off two days rest where they are 101-49-10 in their last 160 games, as well as dominating home ice at 89-40 over their last 129. The Blackhawks also off two days rest where defense has prevailed posting a 16-5 mark to the UNDER in their last 21 off two days rest and they have also played seven of their last ten roadies UNDER the total. Vancouver has seen just 25% (8) of their last 32 home games exceed the total and the Blackhawks have registered just one win here in their last five trips over the boarder. Vancouver and the UNDER in this one.
