The Canucks have established themselves as a tough team to beat on their home ice where they have suffered just two losses in their last nine and have not scored less than three goals in any of their last five at home. The season shows the significance of that as they have allowed just 22 goals on home ice in 13 games or 1.7 a game. The Blackhawks have won six straight games, but certainly will be tested tonight as they are just 4-10 in their last 14 when posted as an underdog. As good as the Canucks have been, they have been better off a couple of days rest where they have posted a 42-15-1 mark. The Canucks have been tough at home, and history shows us they are in a situation where they have been even tougher, so they get the call here.
