For a few years the Sharks absolutely dominated games at the Tank, but have slipped a bit over the last couple of seasons, winning just five of nine played here this season. The ‘08-‘09 season and the ‘09-‘10 season saw them lose just 10 here combined, while that total reached 11 last year and is headed for more this season. The Blackhawks seem to save their best hockey vs. the best teams beating Vancouver to start the road trip easily 5-1. They also have a tendency to take big losses personally as they are a resoundingly profitable 27-11 following a loss of 3 goals or more. The Sharks’ big numbers at the Tank are declining, and Chicago has had no problems here as they are 5-2 the last seven games on this ice, and 10-4 in the last 14 meetings with San Jose. Chicago gets the call.
