A pair of last-place teams that are much better on offense than defense. Chicago is #23 in the league in goals allowed, surrendering a ridiculous 26 goals the last five games. They've allowed at least five goals in six straight contests! They've also allowed 34 goals the last seven games and are on a 35-16-6 run OVER the total on the road. The Blackhawks head to a NY Islanders squad that is all about offense, seventh in goals scored, fifth on the power play. The Islanders are 9-for-18 on the power play over the past four games. But the defense is wretched, off a 7-6 home loss to Tampa Bay, dropping them to #31 in goals allowed and in penalty killing. New York allowed at least six goals for the third time in five games. The Islanders are on a 44-21-3 run OVER the total. New York beat Chicago 7-3 when they last met in January and this will be another battle with far more offense than defense. This one finishes OVER.
