Chicago opened eyes wide in the NHL by opening the season with 24 straight games of taking at least 1 point away from each contest. They showed tremendous resolve and focus to keep the streak going, the kind of demeanor necessary to ride all the way to a Stanley Cup win. They have opened the playoffs looking like that same team, taking a 2-0 lead in their series vs. Minnesota, outscoring the Wild 7-3. Minnesota had a streak of their own of seven straight wins, but this team has been lost since. The Wild, since their seven game streak, have been an unplayoffs-like 6-12 in their last 18 games. Making matters worse is the fact that they have been out-scored in those 18 games 56-35. The Wild have had little success vs. the elite as they are 7-19 in their last 26 vs. a team over .600 while the Blackhawks have rolled to a 20-6 road mark in their last 26. All Chicago in this one.
