Chicago was in desperation mode in their last series vs. the Detroit Red Wings, falling behind in the series three games to one. They rallied back to win three straight, and have kept right on rolling, opening a 2-0 series lead vs. the Stanley Cup Champion Kings. Things have not quite been the same for LA this year, as a year ago they never once trailed in a playoffs series, let alone trailing by two games, which is what they face at home tonight. Despite getting here, they are just 2-5 in their last seven games. The Kings never once gave up 4 goals in 20 playoffs games a year ago, but allowed Chicago to penetrate the net four times in Game Two. There is another problem, and it is the weak Kings' attack, which has scored 2 goals or less in 11 of their 15 games. When you consider that they have allowed 2 goals or more in 10 of the 15 games, they are fortunate to be here. Chicago has dispatched 39 of their last 51 opponents that scored 2 or fewer goals in their previous game, and 40-15 in their last 55 following a win. The Kings have not answered the bell recently when playing for the third time in four games at 0-4, and Chicago has won five of the last six here. Take Chicago.
