Neither team is playing well right now or really all season long. Chicago scores about the same on the road as does Edmonton at home. Road dogs coming off three straight losses at this stage of the season are very good bets in the NHL. Edmonton is coming off a shutout win over Calgary and the Oilers are 4-13 in their last 17 at home off a home shutout. Over the past three seasons, they are also 6-13 at home after scoring 4+ in a home win. We like Chicago here. We also like the UNDER given that Chicago scores 2.4 per game on the road while Edmonton gets 2.5 at home. The Oilers are 20-7 UNDER at home vs. poor defensive teams (2.9+ per game alllowed) over the past three seasons in post All-Star play. And, Edmonton is 8-1 UNDER at home off a home win over a division rival the past two seasons.
