Chicago at Detroit

The Detroit Red Wings find themselves in a familiar spot and that is winning a lot of games - especially on home ice where they are 5-1-2 on the season. Chicago is the better team, however, and the Blackhawks have appeared to break out of their offensive malaise that saw them produce just 13 goals over a seven game stretch. Chicago has a potent offense, and one that is back on track as they have scored 15 times in their last four games, topping their woeful seven game production just prior to getting back on track. The Red Wings are just 2-7 in their last nine vs. a team that allowed 2 goals or fewer in their previous game.
