We have a battle in the Central Division where both teams can put the puck in the net. Detroit is No. 4 in the NHL in goals scored and comes off a 6-0 win over Minnesota, part of a 4-0 run PVER the total with 17 goals scored, 10 allowed. That's an average of 7 goals per game. They take on a Chicago team that is No. 6 in the NHL in goals scored, though No. 22 in goals allowed. It doesn't help that the Chicago defense has injuries to Niklas Hjalmarsson (concussion), Steve Montador (out indefinitely) and Sean O'Donnell - none of whom played the last game. Look for more goals than oddsmakers expect, so play the OVER.
