Carolina at Washington

Carolina so far has held down Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin (neither scored on the Hurricanes). Cam Ward and this defense can handle this Washington lineup too. They have beaten the Capitals ten of the last sixteen times including five of eight here in Washington. NHL favorites coming off a big road win (2+ goals) with no rest are just 38-49 over the past five seasons. Washington is just 9-16 as a favorite overall the past three seasons including 5-14 at home  at -100 to -150.
