Carolina at Washington

Carolina continues to roll having now won nine straight. Washington has reeled off three straight victories but will have a tough go of it here. Carolina rocks weak teams. They are 12-1 this season vs. teams that have been outscored by .3+ goals per game. They are 20-5 against teams that allow 17.5%+ power play conversion. And, they are 19-3 vs. teams that that allow 30 or more shots on goal per game this season. Road favorites of -200 or less at 60%+ on the season off a home game where both teams scored 3 or more goals are 33-8 (81%) since 1996 when facing losing teams. This is just a huge mismatch and I like Carolina to take it down. Two stars on the Hurricanes.
