Carolina at Vancouver

Carolina won on Saturday 3-2 over Florida when Noah Hanifin scored with two seconds left in overtime and Cam Ward saved 37 shots for the Hurricanes.  Scott Darling is expected in net tonight and he has a .268 goals-against average and .903 save percentage on the season. Vancouver goalie Jacob Markstrom is 7-8-3 with a 2.54 GAA and .913 save percentage but has lost five of his last seven starts. The Canucks are playing their second home game following a six-game trip and they come off a 2-1 win over Toronto on Saturday. Markstrom stopped 35 shots as the Canucks scored two first-period goals and then hung on. Vancouver is just 5-22 its last 27 home games and 2-5 its last seven after a win. Also, the Canucks are 9-21 after scoring two or fewer goals their previous game dating to last season.
