Carolina has won six of the past seven meetings and the Hurricanes have won 21 of 34 road games this season. Pittsburgh has won just 18 of 35 at home and it has lost 11 of 14 games overall after falling to Colorado 5-4 in overtime on Sunday while blowing a 4-0 lead for the Penguins' third loss in a row. Meanwhile the Hurricanes have won eight of 10, including Sunday's 2-1 victory over Toronto when Frederik Andersen had 31 saves in his sixth straight win since returning from an injury on March 7. Pyotr Kochetkov could give Andersen a break in net tonight and he is not considered a dropoff as Kochetkov is 19-12-4 with a 2.46 goals-against average with three shutouts this season.
