Frederik Andersen gave up five goals, but Antti Raanta is likely in net tonight and he owns a 1.93 goals-against average in two starts. Carolina had played five straight on the road before last night and the Hurricanes still have lost only two games in regulation this season. Philadelphia has split its past two games and defeated Florida 4-3 on Thursday even though the Panthers had a 50-22 edge in shots. The Hurricanes have won the past three meetings and they are 9-2 their past 11 games after a home loss by at least three goals and 16-5 overall after losing by three or more goals.
