Carolina at Ottawa

The Carolina Hurricanes came away from last season realizing that they needed to bolster the offense. They did so, but the moves have not paid off, and their offense may have actually declined, especially recently. The Hurricanes' attack has been limited to 2 goals or less in 11 of their last 16 games. Ottawa has not fared much better, but they have been defending very well, and with limited offense, and very solid defense, just one of their last nine games have seen more than 5 total goals scored. Carolina has played 8 of their last 10 road games UNDER the total, while Ottawa has topped the total in just four of their last 28 home games!
