Carolina at New Jersey

We have a matinee today in New Jersey as Carolina treks up the coast to face-off with the Devils. The Devils may not be the highest scoring team in the league, but they have had a lot of success vs. Hurricanes’ net-minder Cam Ward. The Devils have beaten him in 11 of 17 matchups, and I look for the Devils to do some scoring here as the total here is a lot lower than that expectation. I know it is early, but these teams matchup perfectly for a high-scoring game, as Carolina is 36-6-12 to the OVER vs. a home team that is less than .400 at home. New Jersey is 12-4-4 vs. a team that is less than .400 on the road. This one goes OVER the total.
