Carolina at New Jersey

The Carolina Hurricanes have had some offensively explosive games and over their last 18 have averaged over 3 goals per contest. The problem has been that as much as they have scored in the 18 games, they have given up even more. The Devils have been a hot team winners of 12 of their last 15 games on the season and they too have been averaging over 3 a contest during the 15 game streak. The Devils have gone OVER the the total to a 5-1-1 mark in their last seven vs the Southeast, while the Hurricanes are 11-5 to the OVER in their last 16 vs a team with a losing record. I'll go with the OVER in this one.
