Carolina has won the last three meetings, including a 4-3 shootout on Nov. 26. The Hurricanes had won three straight before an inexplicably poor performance in an 8-1 loss at Toronto on Tuesday. Scott Darling will look to bounce back from an off night in goal and he still has a 2.87 goals-against average this season and had not allowed more than three goals his previous eight starts. Nashville lost 6-4 to Winnipeg to snap a three-game winning streak when Brandon Taney scored the tiebreaking goal with 1:26 left. The Predators have lost five of their last seven when their opponent allowed at least five goals its previous game. Carolina has won seven of the last 10 meetings overall and is getting good line value in this matchup. Take the Hurricanes.
