Carolina has won three straight after defeating St. Louis 6-4 on Thursday as Jordan Martinook scored three goals, including the go-ahead goal with 4:35 left. The Panthers used two goalies with Antti Raanta stopping 12 shots and Pyotr Kochetkon had 10 saves for the Hurricanes. Kochetkon is probable tonight with a 4-1-3 record and 2.30 goals-against average. Los Angeles has lost six of its past nine although it did get a 5-3 win over Arizona on Thursday when the Kings rallied from a 3-1 deficit. Carolina has won the past five meetings and the Hurricanes are 35-16 their past 51 games versus the Pacific Division.
