Carolina at Columbus

Carolina snapped a three-game losing streak by beating Columbus 3-0 on Monday and now the teams meet for the fourth time in a row. The Hurricanes will try to even this series as they lost the first two in overtime and a shootout and they are still getting stellar play from James Reimer, who is 12-4-1 with a 2.68 goals-against average. Joonas Korpisalo is likely in net tonight as Elvis Merzilikins didn't practice yesterday and Korpisalo is 8-10-5 with a 2.98 GAA this year and he was 2-3-0 with a 3.84 GAA against the Hurricanes last season. Merzilikins is 5-3-2 with a 2.91 GAA this season. Carolina has won nine of its past 12 games overall and five of its past six road games. The Blue Jackets are 2-9 their past 11 games after scoring two or fewer goals their previous game, and 3-8 their past 11 games playing with two days rest. Take the Hurricanes.
