Calgary gets an opportunity to snap a five-game skid against San Jose, which has lost seven of 10 itself, including a 3-2 shootout loss to Los Angeles on Saturday night and now the Sharks play on no rest. Kaapo Kahkonen is probable in net for the Sharks and he is 3-6-2 with a 3.71 goals-against average and .877 save percentage. Kahkonen has allowed 20 goals his last five starts, including nine his last two. Three of the Flames' past five losses have gone into overtime or shootout and they are 7-3 following a loss of at least three goals and the road team has won five of six meetings. San Jose is 1-12 after going into overtime the previous day and 7-20 their past 27 home games. Also, the Sharks are 9-24 their past 33 games afteer scoring two or fewer goals their previous game.
