Calgary has won seven of the past nine meetings, including 4-3 on Sunday when Jacob Markstrom had 28 saves and the Flames scored three third-period goals. Calgary has won three in a row and six of eight following its 6-3 victory over Nashville on Thursday as Dan Vladar stopped 29 shots for the Flames and Markstrom is expected back in net today with a 10-10-2 record and 2.65 goals-against average and a .907 save percentage and he has won nine of his past 14 starts. Philadelphia has had trouble scoring lately and the Flyers have lost four straight and six of seven while scoring only eight goals their past four games, including a 3-2 shootout loss to Columbus on Thursday when the Flyers had a 41-28 edge in shots.
