The Calgary Flames are a hot team right now as they have won four straight. They must take into account that the last four have been at home as they concluded a five-game home stand. They have not been playing their best behind the net and defensively as despite the streak, they are allowing three goals a game in their last 10, and four in their latest win on home ice. They needed seven goals to win against Nashville earlier in the season - allowing six. The predators have been a very solid team on home ice, building a 10-5-1 mark against the Flames 9-7-1 mark. We essentially have a team under the home/away scenario, in the Predators, which have a better record and are listed as the dog here. Nashville has been a house of horrors for the Flames where they are just 3-11-1 in their last 15 trips to the Music City, and their 15-39 mark against teams with a greater than .600 home winning percentage doesn't fit the role of them as a favorite here either. Nashville is a very live dog, and gets the call.
