Calgary at Montreal

Calgary is off to a good start this season with a 5-3 record and the Flames come off a 4-1 win at the New York Rangers on Sunday when Johnny Gaudreau and Garnet Hathaway each scored twice and David Rittich had 44 saves.  Mike Smith will be back in goal tonight and he'll try to improve on his 3-3 record. Montreal twice blew two-goal leads against Ottawa and lost 4-3 in overtime on Saturday. Goalie Carey Price, who had a subpar season in 2017-18 allowed four goals on 34 shots against the Senators has a .904 save percentage with a 2.57 goals-against average. The Canadiens have lost 37 of their last 54 overall and 18-of-24 against teams with .600 or better winning percentages dating to last season. The road team has won six of the last eight meetings.
