Calgary at Los Angeles

Los Angeles is off to a 2-0 start and the Kings have won six of the last nine meetings with Calgary. The Kings have had two days off after beating San Jose 4-1 on Sunday when Anze Kopitar had two goals and an assist. Jonathan Quick made 24 saves for the Kings, who have looked good offensively under new coach John Stevens. Mike Smith will start in goal for the Flames and he has allowed five goals in three games. Calgary lost its opener at Edmonton before beating Winnipeg and Anaheim. The Flames have lost four of the last five meetings at Los Angeles and they have lost eight in a row dating to last season against teams with winning records. The Flames signed ageless wonder Jaromir Jagr, but he is questionable for this game as he gets back into shape.
