Detroit's young team appears to be running out of gas after a promising first half of the season and the Red Wings have lost six of nine, including 5-2 against Edmonton on Tuesday when Ville Husso allowed four goals in a 5-2 loss and he is likely in net tonight. Husso has lost five of his past nine decisions and the Red Wings have lost to Calgary six times in a row although this is the first meeting this season. The Flames have gone OVER four of five after suffering a 5-4 loss in overtime to the New York Rangers on Monday. Calgary is 17-7 its past 24 games playing with two days rest and it has gone OVER five of its past seven road games. Detroit is 40-16-4 OVER after scoring two or fewer goals its previous game and the Red Wings are 24-51 versus Western Conference teams. Play the Flames and the OVER.
