Colorado has had an up-and-down season thus far as they are just 3-2. But, they are 3-0 at home, scoring 15 goals in those three games. Paul Stastny already has five goals and five assists, complimenting the always-good play of Joe Sakic. Calgary has allowed 4 goals in three out of five games already. After dropping their first three, Calgary has won two straight. But, teams off a home win facing an opponent off two straight road wins have come through at a 67% rate (55-27) over the past five seasons. And, the Flames are on a 3-19 run on the road vs. winning teams. Colorado is 26-6 when playing with 2+ days rest over the past couple of seasons. Over the past few seasons, 12 of the 16 games these two teams have played gone OVER the total. Against teams that are poor against the power play (20%+ conversion), the Avs are 16-4 OVER the past couple of seasons. We like a high scoring affair, with Colorado getting the win.
