Calgary at Colorado

Colorado closed last season really struggling on home ice. They dropped four of their last five in the regular season. In the playoffs, the Avs struggled again at just 1-2. They opened the season trying to remedy their home ills, but it just hasn't happened as they are an even up 3-3 through their first six. They have also now gone 0-6 after allowing 2 goals or less in their previous game, failing to gain any momentum from a good defensive effort. The Flames had a disastrous three-game stretch that saw them allow 17 goals, but since have allowed just 4 in the last two combined. Outside of the three game lapse, the Flames have allowed just 21 scores in 10 games, holding opponents to 2.1 per night. The road team has had their way in this series, taking the last four. I like Calgary to make that number jump to five tonight. Calgary gets the win.
