Calgary at Buffalo

Buffalo lost its last two games heading into the All-Star break and hasn't played since Feb. 1 so the Sabres will be a bit rusty against Calgary, which comes off a tough 2-1 loss at Detroit on Thursday night. Dan Vladar had 15 saves as the Flames outshot the Red Wings 36-17, but couldn't solve Ville Husso, who had 35 saves for Detroit. Vladar is expected in net again today and he is 11-5-4 with a 2.73 goals-against average. Buffalo won the first meeting 6-3 in October and the road team has won eight of the past nine meetings and the Flames have won four straight at Buffalo. The Sabres are 2-5 their past seven home contests and 22-52 versus a team that scored two or fewer goals its previous game.
