Calgary doesn't play much defense, but the offense has been slumping and for the season they rank #25 on the power play. The Flames are 7-3 UNDER the total against a team with a winning record. They won't score much against an Anaheim defense that is first in the NHL in goals allowed and in penalty killing. The Ducks won 2-1 over Edmonton on Monday to conclude a 3-1-1 road trip against weak teams. That continues at home against the Flames and Anaheim hasn't given up more than two goals in a game at home in a 10-1-1 span while allowing 1.33 goals per game. Anaheim goalie John Gibson has a 1.06 goals-against average in three starts against Calgary this season, while fellow netminder Frederik Andersen has posted a 1.99 GAA in a 7-1-1 span and has won his last eight home starts with a 1.12 mark. All of which means don't look for much scoring. Take this one to finish UNDER the total.
